THE SEED TO STITCH FELLOWSHIP
At 919 Vrede, sustainability goes beyond the garments we create — it starts at the source.
Our Seed to Stitch Fellowship is a regenerative farming initiative that supports underfunded cotton farmers in Nigeria through access to high-quality seeds, organic microdosing kits, and hands-on training in sustainable agriculture.
We recognize that while fashion is evolving, the farmers behind our materials are often left behind. Through this program, we invest a percentage of every sale into helping smallholder farmers transition to regenerative practices — improving soil health, crop yields, and ultimately, livelihoods.
How it works:
We Fund: Every purchase funds farmer training, seeds, and natural input kits.
We Train: Farmers are guided by agronomists to adopt regenerative methods.
We Track: Each garment comes with an Impact Card, giving customers real-time updates on the farming communities they’ve helped support.
This is more than a give-back program — it’s a shared movement to rebuild Africa’s cotton legacy and drive climate resilience from the ground up.
